Famoc Depanel again leads ranking of Colombian furniture manufacturers in 2018

COLOMBIA – For the second consecutive year, in 2018 office and institutional furniture manufacturer Famoc Depanel ranked first, according to the level of sales, among Colombia’s leading furniture manufacturers.

840COLOMBIA The company, with manufacturing headquarters in the municipality of Madrid, Cundinamarca, about 20 kilometers from Bogotá, reached sales of COP 86.46 billion, growth of 26.3% when compared to sales of COP 68.46 billion reached in 2017 when it also led the sales ranking.

In second place was RTA Muebles, which totaled sales of COP 85.02 billion in 2018, a growth of 30.5% compared to 2017 (COP 65.16 billion). The third position was for Solinoff Corporation with sales of COP 68.06 billion, followed by Carvajal Espacios and Industrias Dofi, with sales of COP 60.84 billion and COP 51.19 billion, respectively.

Among the main 12 manufacturers seven are office furniture manufacturers (Famoc, Carvajal, Solinoff, Muma, Moderline, JEP and Servex) whose consolidated sales reached COP 345 billion, an improvement of 31.7% compared to 2017 (COP 263 billion), and four are modular furniture manufacturers (RTA Muebles, Dofi, Inval and Moduart) whose consolidated sales reached COP 201 billion, which represented an improvement of 19.1% compared to 2017.

Solinoff was among the leading Colombian furniture manufacturers the one with the highest sales growth in 2017 (76.6%).
