CANADA – Dorel Industries Inc. , a leader in North American furniture manufacturing, has entered into a sale-leaseback transaction involving its factory and warehousing facility in Columbus, Indiana, to improve its financial standing.

The sale will generate USD 30 million in proceeds, with USD 8 million allocated to reduce debt and the remainder used to support ongoing operations.
Dorel, ranked #26 on the FDMC300 list with USD 559 million in furniture sales, is a prominent player in the ready-to-assemble (RTA) furniture market in North America, with brands like Ameriwood Home.

This transaction is part of the company’s strategy to fund growth in its Juvenile segment and stabilize its Home segment, as announced on January 30, 2025. Dorel continues to explore opportunities to further enhance its financial position and maintain its leadership in North American furniture manufacturing.
