COLOMBIA – Dofi Industries, a company founded in 1995 in the city of Armenia, department of Quindio in Colombia, known by its RTA furniture brand ModuOfi, entered the list of Top 10 furniture manufacturers of Dinero Magazine’s annual edition of the top 5000 Colombian Companies.
In its debut in the 2014 top 10 list, Dofi Industries reported sales of COP 27.900 million.
According to data compiled by the magazine, sales of the leading Colombian furniture manufacturers reached the sum of COP 453.900 million, growth of 4.6% against 2013 sales of Cop434.100 million. The sector’s growth was driven by the RTA furniture segment, which recorded sales of COP 213.300 million in 2014 (2013: COP 166.500 million) and 28.2% growth. In contrast, sales of office and institutional furniture fell 10.1%, reaching COP 240.600 million in 2014 (2013: COP 267.600 million).
With sales of COP 119.200 million, the Top 10 list is headed by office furniture manufacturer Carvajal Espacios. RTA furniture manufacturer Moduart occupies the second position with COP 57.800 million in sales. Among the top 10 manufacturers of 2014, 6 are modular furniture manufacturers and the other 4 are office and institutional furniture manufacturers.
