COLOMBIA – In contrast with the performance of total Colombian exports during 2014, which were down 6.8% during the year, exports of modular furniture by the main exporting companies were up 9% in 2014 reaching USD 15.29 miilion (2013: USD 14.02 million).

The main markets for Colombian modular board furniture in 2014 were Chile, with exports of USD 4.75 million (31.1%); Peru, with USD 3.89 million (25.4%) and Ecuador with USD 1.57 million (10.3%).

The main exporting company was again Moduart with USD 8.42 million and 55% share, compared with USD 6.79 million in 2013 (+23.9%), followed by RTA Design with USD 3.58 million that compares with exports of USD 3.53 million in 2013 (+1.6%).
