GERMANY – The future of Poggenpohl the oldest kitchen brand in the world is secured: the takeover by the strategic investor Jomoo Germany, subsidiary of the Chinese Jomoo Group, is completed as planned. All contractual conditions have been fulfilled, so that the economic transition will take place on 1 September, 2020.
“Poggenpohl will remain a German kitchen brand with production in Herford that stands for sophisticated, modern design as well as high quality and reliability. Our customers can continue to rely on the high brand promise. The jobs in Herford will be retained and the entire team of employees will return Poggenpohl to its old glory and strength,” the newly appointed managing director Ralf Marohn informed the Poggenpohl team.
Poggenpohl will continue to focus strongly on product design and product innovation. The further development of regional markets both in continental Europe and overseas, such as the USA, China, India and the Middle East, will be a focus of investment. The network of existing branches and dealers will be further expanded to guarantee the high quality of Poggenpohl products and the best B2B customer service.
Jomoo is a privately owned company headquartered in Xiamen, Fujian Province on the South East coast of China.
