GERMANY – Under the “Simply Inspired” motto, the wood-based material manufacturer brings new introductions and innovations for the furniture industry. The 600 m2 EGGER trade fair booth at Interzum from 16th to 19th May 2017 will showcase highlights from their in-house exhibition EGGERZUM 2017, alongside new products and services from the EGGER Decorative Collection 2017-2019.

At Interzum in Cologne, EGGER’s trade fair motto “Simply Inspired” is an umbrella term covering all of EGGER’s new introductions. It includes new decors and products from EGGERZUM 2017 - the wood-based material manufacturer’s in-house exhibition for the furniture industry - as well as premium surfaces and the 9 Grid system from the EGGER Decorative Collection. Both areas are united by the central theme of inspiration. “Our customers know us as a future-oriented provider of ideas for design and material. We will once again live up to this expectation with this year’s presentation at Interzum in Cologne,” says Hubert Höglauer, Head of Marketing and Product Management Furniture/Interior.

For more than 20 years, EGGER has been successfully organizing EGGERZUM, an in-house exhibition for its customers in the furniture industry, in various locations belonging to the corporate group. The decor and surface novelties presented - now also shown at the Interzum - are inspired by social trends such as mindfulness, value, and balance. They are reflected in interior design in the deliberate combination of a wide range of materials and colors. The mindful handling of accents and contrasts, light and saturated uni colors, plain and striking woodgrain decors, as well as diverse material reproductions, leads to balanced but at the same time exciting decors.

Since the introduction of PerfectSense Gloss and Matt lacquered boards, the wood-based material manufacturer has been working hard to develop this premium product further. In addition to the 18 decor variants of the EGGER Decorative Collection, EGGERZUM 2017's decor innovations for woodgrain and material reproductions in gloss and matt will also be shown in Cologne. With a new matt concept, EGGER offers a complete PerfectSense Matt solution for the furniture industry.

There have also been changes for edging: at Interzum, EGGER is presenting woodgrain and material reproductions as polypropylene edging in digital printing with embossed texture. This means that the full-range supplier provides a suitable edging for almost every surface.

The wood-based material manufacturer is also bringing its new EGGER Decorative Collection 2017-2019 to Interzum. Introduced successfully across the world in January, the collection is aimed at architects, distributors, and fabricators. The collection is an interconnected system with 300 decors, seven new surfaces, and an expanded product range for established decor and material combinations. Comprehensive services provide support in every project phase and make fast, reliable, and successful activities possible.

Moreover, EGGER has developed a system that provides orientation in this decor diversity: the innovative 9 Grid system, in which decors are ordered into compact 9 grids, allows for fast, direct comparison between color tones and also groups wood types and materials by character. Decors for projects can be defined easily and efficiently. Another key element of the Collection are the nine style worlds: they incorporate defining international trends, on whose basis EGGER has developed its decors.
