FIMAR rewarded its best exhibitors and products

ARGENTINA - The tenth edition of the Argentine International Furniture Fair, FIMAR 2016, held for the first time in Buenos Aires from 17 to 20 August parallel to the 33rd Expo Present, generated a satisfactory business flow and drew more than 22,000 visitors to the La Rural fair grounds.

"We are more than satisfied with the results of our first experience in Buenos Aires, where our furniture excelled. We achieved a significant level of sales which already makes us imagine the next very strong editions," said Gustavo Viano, Chairman of the FIMAR Executive Committee at the event’s end, who also stressed that "the audience was attracted renewed designs, offering excellence and product quality."

Within the event, the organizing committee and a prestigious jury awarded its outstanding exhibitors. In this context, the "Ernesto Humeler" Award was given to the best product of the show to "Bahiut Dominga" of RAD (Villa Allende, Córdoba). Special mentions were given in Product Innovation, to the "Kiri Chair" by Andre and Kevin of Cima Metal (Córdoba); in Product Presentation, to "Donna Chair" by Hippolytus Dadone and Sons (Colazo, Córdoba); and in Ergonomics, to the "Letto Sofa" by Volentiera and Sons (Canada de Gomez, Santa Fe).

The "Victor Bentolila" Best Product Award in the fourth Salon del Mueble Argentino (SMA) went to the "Sic 02 Chair" of Line Cateto designed by Lucia Cerutti and Paul Gasparini of The Gacé Studio of the city of Cordoba

The "Ernesto Humeler" distinction for Best Stand of the fair went to the company Gepetto of Esperanza, Santa Fe. The special mention for Innovation went to the Geza Furniture stand (Arminda, Santa Fe); for Communication and Image to the Hipólito Dadone and Sons (Colazo, Córdoba). The most Attracting Stand mention went to the La Esperanza stand (Canada de Gomez, Santa Fe).

Finally, the "Victor Bentolila" Best Product Award in the fourth Salone del Mueble Argentino (SMA) went to the "Sic 02 Chair" of Line Cateto designed by Lucia Cerutti and Paul Gasparini of The Gacé Studio of the city of Cordoba. Mentions were given in the SMA to Special Quality to the "Kanalo Table" of Tabureto Furniture (Mercedes, Buenos Aires); and in Innovation to the "Dona Console" created by Andres Jalif (Buenos Aires).
