BRAZIL - On February 24th the winners of the 2014 Salao Design Awards were announced, distinguishing 14 designers from Latin America with cash prices for R $ 175,000 (approx. USD 75,000) and an exclusive seal to be used by the winners of each category.

The award, organized by the Union of Furniture Industries of Bento Gonçalves (Sindmóveis), is in its 25th year, and has become one of the highlights for furniture designers in the region.

Winners will be presented to the public during Movelsul Brazil 2014, between 24 and 28 March, in Bento Gonçalves. In this edition, the winners come from Brazil, Argentina, Colombia and Uruguay. See the full list of winners at www.salaodesign.com.br/blog.
