GERMANY (Notifix).- Together with its partner company akustik+, EGGER was honored with the intelligent material & design 2013 ''Best of the Best'' interzum award on May 12.

The ''balance'' motif with custom perforation patterns that was submitted in the “Materials and Surfaces” category convinced the international jury of "an outstanding service that sets new standards for form and function in the industry”. The sophisticated motif with its four acoustically effective panels can be arbitrarily combined to allow 256 different variations.  
The motif can be rotated, reflected or strung together in different ways, which makes a uniform overall appearance possible. Only nine out of 200 submitted products from 16 countries received the coveted award.
