BRAZIL – The Artefacto Exhibition, celebrating 40 years, chose as the theme for 2016: “The most desired destinations in the world.”
The Curitiba issue of the show, which opened to the public on August 13, brings 18 ‘spaces’ in which chosen professionals of the architecture and decoration disciplines rely on their favorite destinations as inspiration.
In five of these environments Berneck panels, both uni-colors and woods, are present as decorative elements thanks to their sophisticated finishes. With this, Artefact Curitiba 2016 demonstrates the growing acceptance of panels used in decoration as wall coverings, ceilings and room divisions.
“Decorative wood panels as a sustainable and high technology option, are increasingly being used as wall and ceiling coverings and as room dividers, in addition to making furniture. It is a trend that is gaining strength every day” says Graça Berneck Gnoatto, commercial and marketing director of Berneck.
Andrea Colin Cooke, marketing and product supervisor, adds that the choice of refined finishes of panels that show natural patterns and texture to the touch, is also a trend. “The composition of different designs, woods or colors is also highlighted”.
