GERMANY – As part of the Ambiente trade fair in Frankfurt am Main, the German Design Council awarded the German Design Awards.

In the 2018 edition wood-based materials specialist Egger recieved awards for all three of its product areas: furniture and interior design, flooring and construction products.

Egger received the “Winner” title in the category “Materials and Surfaces” for the PerfectSense decor. The gloss and matt surfaces impressed the jury with their tactile and aesthetic qualities. Under the title “Evolution”, Egger presented the latest developments of its high-gloss and matt premium product group on solid and wooden decors as well as material replicas for the furniture industry.

Also two floor coverings from the Egger Design Flooring collection were awarded “Winner” in the “Building & Elements” category. The floors convinced the jury with their authentic look and the special surface that makes them attractive for a long time.

And the Egger Ergo Board from the product range of the Egger building products was awarded the title “Special Mention” in the category “Material & Surfaces”.
