GERMANY – After the sought-after ‘Red Dot Award: Communication Design’ and the renowned ‘Innovation Prize of the German Printing Industry’ in 2013, Interprint’s ‘Living in Contrasts’ Décor Book has now also received the ‘iF Communication Design Award 2014’.
“That’s almost like the triple in football,” said Salvatore Figliuzzi, Décor Development & Marketing Manager at Interprint, delightedly. “That gives the entire team an additional motivation drive for the forthcoming ZOW 2014 exhibition.” Besides the Red Dot Award, the iF Award is the most renowned design award in Germany.
“Living in Contrasts” was the creative motto with which Interprint presented its trendsetting décors in 2013. The décor book was published on the occasion of the interzum trade fair last year and presents a world full of contrasts in line with this motto. Visually, haptically and verbally. Décors full of character and adjacent facts jointly increase awareness and inspire the viewer. The contrast-rich design is interestingly different from the usual décor monotony. Patterns, colours and structures of wood, stone and other materials are emotionally loaded and tell their own stories.
