Salão Design is the most important design award related to the furniture industry in Latin America, both for its prestige, as for its prize purse of nearly USD 80,000. The competition organized by Sindmóveis, the Union of the Furniture Industry of Bento Gonçalves, Brazil is open to professionals, designers, students and the industry in general, and sponsored by Impress and Berneck.
In its 18th edition Salão Design seeks to encourage the entrepreneurial spirit of the members of the industry, stimulating the incorporation of value added products, achieving significantly improve industry competitiveness in the global market.
