Poggenpohl and Porsche announce the continuation of their successful cooperation

GERMANY – Poggenpohl and Porsche Design announced the extension of their joint cooperation. The now agreed, long-term cooperation focuses on the continuation of the existing Porsche Design kitchens “P’7340” and “P’7350” as well as the intensification of joint global marketing activities.In addition, the development of a new product line is planned.

832POGGENPOHL2 In 2007 Poggenpohl and Porsche Design together developed the iconic “P’7340” – a concept that impresses with its exclusive stainless steel frame construction. The companies continued their successful cooperation in 2014 with the “P’7350”. Both kitchen concepts have received several international design awards.

“Back in 2007, together with Poggenpohl, we launched the first joint kitchen, the ‘Porsche Design P’7340’. Over the past few years, we have been able to supplement our portfolio with another model and Porsche Design kitchens are now finding their way around the world. We are very pleased to further expand this successful partnership with the new, long-term contract,” said Jan Becker, CEO of Porsche Design.

In 1963, Professor Ferdinand Alexander Porsche created one of the most significant design objects in contemporary history with the 911. With his vision of taking the principles and myth of Porsche beyond the boundaries of the automobile, he founded the exclusive lifestyle brand Porsche Design in 1972. Its counterpart, Poggenpohl, has been developing, designing and producing luxury kitchens at their premises in Herford for more than 125 years.

The 400 Poggenpohl Studios all over the world offer first-class consulting and design expertise with the aim of turning customers’ ideas into “their” perfect kitchen.
