ITALY – The Tortona Design Week in Milan from April 12th to the 15th was the stage chosen by Germany’s Impress Group to presented its new design concept and 2016 collection.
All impress decors originate from the idea that they influence peoples’ environments significantly, accompanying them over the years as soon as they are applied to furniture and flooring surfaces. The design concept cleverly lets the decors speak for themselves and gives them a “face”. Personalization enables décors to present themselves in a pleasant and open way with the power of emotions.
With this in mind the 2016 collection is divided into three ranges: I’M Essential, I’M Eminent and I’M Trend. The three ranges focus on three fundamental customer needs: while one relies on approved yet promising designs, the second concentrates on the decor color-matching alliance. The third range documents the extensive design competence of the company and aims at the power of inspiration.
“I’M Essential” is considered the basic collection. It includes the 26 essential decors of the impress portfolio. This range offers the customer the reassuring feeling to fall back on decors, which are not subject to any short-term trends but are established and have proven themselves and have now been newly interpreted in terms of color.
The I’M Eminent range includes seven décors with a focus on the color-matching alliance of decorative paper and finish foil, where the harmony between the different materials takes center stage.
The I’M Trend range consists of up-to-date and future oriented decor inspirations, which represent four fundamental current trend directions: Pure Serenity, that communicate calmness and serenity. Beautiful Dark, that stands for the timeless elegance of dark interiors. True Nature, where life is in harmony with nature as originality and authenticity offer living environments in the Scandinavian style. Bohemian Chic, stands for laid-back luxury. This style invites to play with rich colours, shapes and exotic influences in a sensual and decorative manner.
