GERMANY – This month of October the Japan Institute of Design Promotion gave the “G-Mark” Good Design Award to two Hettich products: the Sensys hinge and the ArciTech drawer system.
Sensys und ArciTech will be on display in November 2014 at one of Asia’s largest design events, the Good Design Exhibition. This is where the jury will be presenting the awards. Technology for furniture from Hettich will also be exhibited at the “Japan Home & Building Show” from 12 to 14 November 2014. Besides the ArciTech drawer system and Sensys hinges, sliding door systems will also be shown in new application areas.The Sensys hinge and the ArciTech drawer system have attracted numerous design prizes in 2014. Now, with the Good Design Award 2014, Hettich is being acknowledged with this highly regarded product design distinction in Asia. The “G-Mark” symbol is awarded to products for their excellent functionality and performance. It provides an important guide for consumers in helping them to decide which product to buy.
