SPAIN – From September 29th to October 1st in Barcelona’s Arpa Design Centre will take place the event Trends&Senses, a workshops that brings together experts from the world of design and habitat with architects, interior designers, manufacturers and distributors related to the sector.

The aim of this meeting, organized by Finsa in collaboration with Arpa Industriale, is to introduce the industry professional to Finsa’s TrendBook 2015-16 and deconstructing the four major trends included in the publication.

The first trend, ‘Embrace’, reaches to tactile and sensory stimulation, embracing the senses, making unusual combinations of colors and where pastel colors are highlighted. Meanwhile ‘Nurture’ is a trend that responds to the growing concern for the care of the planet’s resources and encourages exploration of nature by man, reproducing organic materials with improved performance. The ‘Pioneer’ is about colonizing the future, combining dark tones with bright textures and, finally, ‘Construct’ draws on traditional techniques and methods with a varied palette of retro inspiration.
