GERMANY – The EGGER Decorative Collection has been broadened to cater for an increasingly wide range of applications and styles. The more diverse collection makes it possible to combine different materials, colors, types of wood, and style directions.

About half of the 300 decors are new developments. The EGGER Decorative Collection 2017–2019 also includes 23 surfaces, of which seven of them have been newly developed.

Combining opposites, material and color mixes, the combination of different styles, complexity and reduction, grey on grey, matt and gloss, as well as contrasts and accents are interior design trends that are reflected in the EGGER Decorative Collection 2017–2019. The wood-based materials manufacturer’s decor and design experts developed the decor selection based on these trends: uni colors were broadened, updated, and reworked, the material reproductions include exciting innovations, the decor palette for wood was also expanded particularly for the wood oak trend and for classical and exotic wood types.

In Uni Colors, the selection of the mega trend White was expanded. Black has become more relevant, particularly in the area of the “nearly blacks”. These are colors that look like black at first glance, but which include certain color nuances. For the palette of Colorful Unis, EGGER has developed muted as well as bright colors. The Memphis colors also addressed a trend area in the world of colors. Intermediate tones from orange to brown are also expanded, as well as violet colors. The look of Uni Colors with textures was also renewed. EGGER combines primarily colors with wood and stone surfaces. PerfectSense Gloss and Matt lacquered boards were also expanded to include on-trend Uni Colors.

With this collection, EGGER presents material reproduction innovations mainly for concrete and metal. Concrete, plaster, and polished looks have been expanded and perfected with the new surface ST16 Matex Plaster. Metal reproductions will also have new, innovative variants with pearlescent content. The surface ST87 Matex Ceramic provides an authentic appearance. For stone decors such as marble and ceramic, the EGGER Decorative Collection 2017–2019 also offers many trend-oriented innovations.

Oak remains the unchallenged number one trend in wood. Whether linear or planked, elegant or rustic, no other type of wood offers so many possibilities with such impressive color interplay. EGGER adds great value with the synchronized pore surface Feelwood. In the area of Classical Woods, the conifers in particular underwent changes. EGGER adds new cooler variants and perfected textures. The collection also includes other variations of elm and walnut. Exotic Woods have been popular for many years in the interior design of shops and hotels. In recent years, wood in unusual colors has increased in popularity. With a selection of horizontally oriented wood types, EGGER offers new design possibilities on surfaces such as doors.
