LUXEMBOURG - Kronospan Luxembourg S.A. recently announced the successful production of its inaugural panel of particleboard (PB) crafted entirely from 100% recycled wood.

This achievement signifies a significant leap in its manufacturing capabilities and underscores its steadfast commitment to environmental stewardship and resource efficiency.

Located in Luxembourg, the facility produces a diverse array of premium products, including MDF, OSB, and Laminate Flooring. With the introduction of 100% recycled wood PB and the launch of the first of three new melamine facing lines, it is enriching the product portfolio and offering the most comprehensive range from a single production site to the market.

Moreover, Kronospan Luxembourg boasts advanced energy solutions, including three combined heat and power (CHP) plants. These plants not only generate surplus electricity that is exported and sold to the national grid, surpassing the factory's consumption needs, but also significantly contribute to enhancing the local energy landscape and reducing the carbon footprint.
