CHINA - Guangxi Xiangsheng Household Material Technology Co., Ltd. and Siempelkamp have agreed on a contract for a new state of the art particleboard line.

The new plant, located in the Green Household Furnishing Industrial Park, boasts an impressive annual capacity of 600,000 cubic meters.

This marks the second major collaboration between Xiangsheng and Siempelkamp. In 2020, Xiangsheng launched its first Siempelkamp particleboard plant with an annual capacity of 300,000 cubic meters, setting a promising precedent for this new initiative.

The "super strength" feature of the new particleboard line utilizes elongated flakes in the core layer, significantly enhancing bending strength. This technological advancement will enable the production of durable, high-quality particleboards tailored to meet diverse market needs.

The new plant is scheduled to begin operations in the first quarter of 2025, manufacturing custom particleboards ranging in thickness from 8 to 40 mm for a variety of applications, from upscale furniture to lightweight construction materials.
