Pablo Figueroa López Takes Over as Chairman of the European Panel Federation

BELGIUM - The European Panel Federation (EPF) appoints Pablo Figueroa López as its new Chairman, succeeding Martin Brettenthaler.

1077EPFMr. Brettenthaler, who officially concluded his tenure on Wednesday, March 20, leaves behind a legacy of transformative leadership and industry dedication as CEO of SwissKrono Group.

During his time, Brettenthaler played a pivotal role in steering EPF towards strategic development and advocacy. He expanded priorities, promoted inclusivity within the Managing Board, and engaged policymakers and stakeholders to champion member interests.

Reflecting on his departure, Brettenthaler stated, "I'm proud of our progress positioning the wood-based panel sector as a climate change role model in European building. I wish my successor, Pablo Figueroa, wisdom and success."

Figueroa López, with an academic background in Economics and leadership roles in exports and sales at FINSA, brings extensive industry expertise to EPF. In his inaugural statement, he expressed commitment to advancing EPF's strategic goals, driving sustainable growth, and fostering innovation in the wood-based panel sector.
