AUSTRALIA - Borg Manufacturing succesfully produced its first board on the new MDF plant made by Siempelkamp.

This milestone marks the start of the MDF plant with ContiRoll press in the 8' × 18.8 m format and a special lightweight board package.

The order also includes a Siempelkamp Compactor which provides effective protection for the steel belts in the press and opens up significant improvements in capacity and quality, especially for the production of thin MDF boards.

The production spectrum includes panels in a thickness range from 1 to 25 mm. Based on the lightweight panel package, the Australian company can produce particularly lightweight fiber panels. A diversified product range with a large range of thicknesses and densities is thus secured.

The ContiRoll  press is the core element of the forming and press line and at the same time the focus of Siempelkamp’s innovations. More than 300 presses have been sold to all parts of the world since its launch 30 years ago. The concept has been continuously developed by Siempelkamp ever since, especially product quality, user friendliness and resource efficiency.
