BRAZIL - Duratex was recognized for its leadership in corporate sustainability by CDP, a global non-profit environmental organization, guaranteeing a place on the prestigious “A List” for combating climate change.

The company, present in the market through the Duratex, Durafloor, Deca, Hydra, Portinari and Ceusa brands, reached the highest grade of the publication, recognized as a global reference in climate management.

Duratex was evaluated for its actions to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, mitigate climate risks and develop a low carbon economy. The company is one of the few that is part of the group considered to be of high performance, among the more than 5,800 companies evaluated. The score was based on data reported by the company itself, through the CDP's 2020 climate change questionnaire. With significant demonstrable climate actions, Duratex is considered a leader in environmental ambition, action and transparency worldwide, by the publication.
