BRAZIL - Berneck, one of the largest producers of wood panels in Brazil and a top exporter in the industry, confirmed its presence in the 14th edition of FIMMA to be held from March 26 to 29, in the Bento Gonçalves Events Park (RS).

Berneck will participate with its portfolio of wood panels (MDP, MDF and HDF), new designs in melamine panels and its offerings of Pine and Teak sawn wood. The portfolio is complemented with an offer of more than 50 designs that follow the latest market trends.

For FIMMA 2019, Berneck continues with its strategy of presenting an innovative and informative stand that promotes a close relationship with its target. “Our DNA preserves these characteristics and in recent years we have invested heavily in research, technology and the expansion of our activities. These factors, added to the quality of our raw material, have fostered lasting alliances in the Brazilian and export markets,” reflects Graça Berneck Gnoatto, Commercial and Marketing Director.

Berneck’s expansion became evident earlier this year when it announced its new investment in an MDF board plant to be supplied by Siempelkamp of Germany. Scheduled for the spring of 2021, this new Berneck plant in Lages, in the state of Santa Catarina, will manufacture 1,665 m² of MDF daily. The installation is scheduled to begin in the second quarter of 2020 and the production of the first panel is set for December of the same year.
