COLOMBIA - This second half of the year, brings two new products launches by Tablemac that meet the market’s increasingly growing demand for added value.
MDF Anti-termite and Blanco Nevado Antimicrobial are the new additions to the leading Colombian particleboard and MDF manufacturer product line, to be presented at the next Expocamacol, the country’s most important construction suppliers trade fair to be held from 24 to 27 August in Medellin.
With MDF Anti-termite projects can de developed in extreme humidity environments, where the materials are more likely to be attacked by deteriorating micro-organisms. Tablemac’s MDF Anti-termite has the ability to retain its properties and dimensional stability for a longer period allowing for better performance compared to conventional fiber boards in extreme conditions.
The other addition, Blanco Nevado Antimicrobial, is a melamine laminate with all the benefits of Supercor, plus the antimicrobial protection afforded by the Ecofriendly agent, ECOBAN ®, which has a 99% protection against Staphylococcus aureus (DSM 799) and 93% against E. coli (DSM 1576). It can be used in environments where cleanliness requirements are stricter, such as hospital spaces where health is priority.
