CHILE - Roberto Salas CEO of Masisa announced that from April 1 Marise Barroso, CEO of Masisa Brazil, added to her responsibilities the leadership of Marketing at a regional level.

"This way, Marise will manage brand, price and product portfolio with the aim to continue strengthening and aligning marketing best practices across the organization and generating synergies between teams, for which she will establish guidelines, define standards and proposed resources for each process", Salas said in a communication to the market. With this new structure local Marketing Managers will report directly to Marise Barroso.

Furthermore Marcos Bicudo, recently appointed General Manager of Masisa Andina, announced changes to his team. As of April 1, Gaston Urmeneta leaves the post of Commercial Manager of Masisa Andina, a position that will occupy Alfredo Gili, currently Corporate Manager of Innovation and New Product Development. Marcos Bicudo also reported that Raul Ibarra is stepping down as Chief Financial Officer of Masisa Andina as of April 30th, his replacement will be announced shortly. Also in the area of Finance, and continuing with the process of integration of accounting teams, Raul Alvarez, Deputy Manager of Accounting left the company on 20 March.

In relation to the team that integrated the Corporate Business Development Management, responsibility under Marcos Bicudo before his appointment as General Manager of Masisa Andina, the structure will be as follows: Jose Catalan, Corporate Manager of Innovation, will continue in his current role and will report directly to Marcos Bicudo, as in the case of Danilo Sverzut, who will continue as Corporate Manager PMO. Meanwhile Christine Itagaki will continue her role in corporate product portfolio, reporting directly to Marise Barroso, CEO of Masisa Brazil; and Felipe Pérez, Business Analyst, will integrate the Andean Masisa team.
