COLOMBIA – Tablemac, Colombia’s leading board manufacturer reported consolidated sales for FY 2014 of COP 226,364 million, up by 19.8% compared with COP 188,970 million of FY2013 consolidated sales.

The cumulative EBITDA reached COP 45,257 million, 11.3% higher than that obtained in FY 2013 where it reached COP 40,664 million. The company also reported a cumulative net profit for the year 2014 of COP 18,841 million, an increase of 345.0% compared to the consolidated net profit of COP 4,234 million with which it closed in 2013.

On the performance indicators for the fourth quarter of 2014, Tablemac reported consolidated net sales in the period of COP 56,872 million, 7.4% above the COP 52,934 million in the last quarter of 2013. Consolidated EBITDA for the quarter closed at COP 10,866 million 11.0% below the COP 12,215 million for the fourth quarter of last year. Consolidated net income for the quarter was COP 4,237 million, a decreased of 9.6% compared with a profit of COP 4,685 million in the same period of 2013. The fourth quarter of 2014 was hit by a strike by workers at its subsidiary Tablemac MDF SAS issued on October 17, 2014 and which was resolved satisfactorily on November 1st.
