COLOMBIA (Notifix). - Tablemac obtained FSC certification of forest management on a range of five core forest for a total of 7,706 hectares, of which 5593.21 hectares are subject to forestry and 2,113 hectares are areas for protection, conservation and other environmental services. Certified plantations are located in the departments of Antioquia, Caldas and Tolima in Colombia. The evaluation process began in April 2012 when the Forestry Certification Division of the Rainforest Alliance conducted the formal evaluation process. The results recommended the certification of the forest management implemented by Tablemac SA.
