COLOMBIA (Notifix).- At the extraordinary shareholders meeting of Tablemac, on August 3, 2012, shareholders unanimously decided to appoint a new Board for the period August 2012 - March 2014. The new appointments result from the entry of Duratex as a new member of the company, through a capitalization of 25% being a major shareholder. Duratex, Tablemac's new strategic partner, is the largest producer of wood panels, metal fittings and sanitary ceramics in the southern hemisphere. The company owns more than 568,000 acres (230.000 hectares), including conservation areas, in the states of São Paulo, Minas Gerais and Rio Grande do Sul, of which more than 395.000 acres (160,000 hectares) are planted forests. Duratex operates with 10.600 employees working in 14 industrial plants, which are strategically located in various states of Brazil and in Argentina. The company currently leads the Brazilian market with brands Durafloor, Hydra and Deca.
