CHILE (Notifix).- Arauco reached a milestone on July 4th with the production of the first board manufactured in the new MDP (Medium Density Particleboard) plant, located in the village of Teno, in the VII Region of Chile. This plant incorporates the latest technology available in the world to produce MDP of two types: raw and melamine, with an annual production capacity of 300,000 m3 of MDP and 250,000 m3 of melamine boards. This product is a new type of melamine board for Arauco, which will be marketed primarily to respond to new trends and needs in furniture, design and interior architecture. The modern complex has a continuous MDP production line, two laminated board production lines and a melamine paper impregnation line.
