CHILE (Notifix).- Inscriptions have opened for Masisa's 2012 Design Competition. Aimed at students of architecture, design and related areas, the contest aims to promote the development of the furniture industry, encouraging creativity and innovation through design. The Masisa Design Contest takes place simultaneously in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Mexico, Peru, Colombia, Ecuador and Venezuela. The contest has two stages, a nationwide selection where the best three projects and the public?s favorite, chosen via Facebook are distinguished. The top project of each country will attend the international finals to be held in Santiago de Chile, where the winner will get airplane tickets and €1,000 to visit one of the most important design fairs in the world taking place in Cologne, Paris, London, Milan and New York.
