Masisa announced the closure of two plants in Valdivia

CHILE (Radio BioBio) - The company Masisa announced the closure of two plants in Valdivia, to lower production and distribution costs. The CUT (labor syndicate) regretted the cessation of the operations, considering others aren't replacing them. A total of 87 workers will lose their jobs, 49 of the Carlos Pushmann Construction that closes on April 16, and 38 as the laminating plant ceases its operation next September.
