COLOMBIA (Notifix).- During the fourth quarter Tablemac's sales totaled COP 27,741 million, an increase of 13.3%, compared with COP 24,493 million for the same period the previous year. Total sales for 2011 closed at COP 109,079 million growing by 18.1% compared with COP 92.363 million the previous year, volume explains growth 7.5% of growth. Export growth was 61.1% in the quarter (62.7% in the year) and furniture segment was up 57.8% cumulative growth. Net income for the quarter was COP 159 million a decrease of 91.0% compared to COP 1,764 million for the same period 2010. The accumulated net income hit COP 5,071 million down 28.7% compared to COP 7,114 million for the same period 2010. EBITDA for the quarter was COP 5,780 million or 20.8% of sales, down 4.7%, in relation to the COP 6,062 million reached in 2010. EBITDA for the year reached COP 24,669 million or 22.6% of sales, an increase of 6.7% compared with COP 23,123 million in 2010. It is worth noting that non recurrent expenses associated with mounting the MDF plant reached COP 1,567 million impacting the EBITDA margin by 1.4%, thus, the EBITDA margin without these non-recurring expenses would have been 24.0%.
