PORTUGAL (Notifix).- Board manufacturer Sonae Industria reported for fiscal year 2011 a turnover increase of 6%, from EUR 1,293 to EUR 1,364 million, a recovery of 2.4 pp in he recurrent EBITDA margin, reaching 7.9% and net losses were reduced from EUR 74 million to EUR 58 million in 2011. In the 4Q11 turnover increased by 3%, to EUR 331 million, recurrent EBITDA margin increased by 3.5pp to 8% and net losses reduced by 82% to EUR 4 million. Joint CEOs Rui Correia and João Paulo Pinto stated, "Although we faced another tough year in 2011, with a very weak macroeconomic environment, particularly in terms of residential construction, we are pleased to report on another year of improvement, having reached the best recurrent EBITDA since 2007".
