USA (Notifix).- Formica Group, a global leader in the design, manufacture and distribution of surfacing materials, is acquiring full ownership of Homapal Plattenwerk GmbH & Co. KG, a manufacturer of metal and specialty laminates. Formica Group has been a 50-percent shareholder ? and the largest customer ? of the Herzberg am Harz, Germany-based company since 1983. "Formica Group has been strategically partnered with Homapal for nearly 30 years, and this transaction fully unites two prominent surfacing industry manufacturers with complementary assets and innovative cultures," shared Formica Group CEO Mark Adamson, a Homapal advisory board member for more than 10 years.
