Norbord Reports 2011 Results

CANADA (Notifix).- Norbord Inc. reported EBITDA of USD 45 million in 2011 compared to USD 107 million in 2010 on 15% lower North American OSB prices. North American operations generated EBITDA of USD 14 million versus USD 83 million in the prior year and European operations generated EBITDA of USD 44 million versus USD 37 million in the prior year. In the fourth quarter of 2011, Norbord recorded positive EBITDA of USD9 million versus $12 million in the previous quarter and USD 14 million in the fourth quarter of 2010.
