COLOMBIA (Notifix).- In the 2010 M&M trade show Tekandina debuted as Homag's representative for Colombia. The new representative faced the responsibility to recover the leadership of the German manufacturer of machinery for wood processing in a market that suffered from past difficulties in post-sales service. Today, two years after that debut, Homag and Tekandina are very pleased with the results of their efforts as they hold the lead in the Colombian market. "The good sales performance, due to the sustained improvement in service quality, competitive pricing and a broad portfolio of machines with an important component of innovation," said Diego Medina, Tekandina General Manager. In the 2012 version of the M&M fair, to be held from March 7 - 10, the Homag Group with Tekandina bring a large sample of cutting edge technology. On this respect Medina added, "Our edge banding machines are the most demanded, and of course we have the widest range of options, like a ladder, machines with speeds from 6 to 32 meters per minute, all possible working groups and different levels of automation. We will also have a CNC, a panel saw with an integrated lift table, among other solutions."In a display of 288 m², the exhibition required an investment of € 900,000.
