Chile Wins Masisa's International Competition for Young Designers 2010

Brasil (Notifix).- Isabel Tapia and Gustavo Concha, Industrial Design students from the Duoc UC of Viña del Mar, Chile, won first place in the Masisa's International Design Competition 2010. The distinction was awarded last October 28 during the design show of Casa Cor in Brasilia, Brazil. The project EME, a functional and practical shelf, defeated the furniture proposals from the finalists of Argentina, Brazil, Mexico and Venezuela. The first prize is a trip to the 2011 Salone Internazionale del Mobile in Milan, Italy. Additionally the winners will have the opportunity to visit a printed paper supplier for board manufacturers in Barcelona, Spain.
