BELGIUM – On the 10th of January Unilin announced the acquisition of Magnum Parket, of the Czech Republic, as part of Unilin’s growth strategy in the engineered wood floors segment.

Ever since Unilin made its first steps into manufacturing and sales of engineered wood floors back in 2007, the company has experienced year on year growth in this category.

The acquisition of Magnum is an important step to support this further growth for the years to come. This is the 4th acquisition for Unilin, a company of part of Mohawk Industries, over the last year – after closing on Pergo, Spano and Marazzi.

Unilin produces laminate, engineered wood and vinyl floors under the Quick-Step and Pergo brand, as well as wood-based panels (particle board, MDF), decorative panels, roofing elements and insulation panels.
