Uniboard launches Nexos, a new panel for exterior use

CANADA – Uniboard, a North American leader in the design and manufacture of decorative composite wood panels (TFL), announced the launch of Nexos, its new exterior panel.

869UNIBOARD3 The new panel has exclusive technical properties that make it highly resistant to moisture.

“Our in-depth knowledge of exterior siding products has led us to develop an innovative manufacturing process with high quality components, resulting in a product that offers superior performance for exterior projects,” said Don Raymond, Vice President. Marketing and US Sales. “The new Nexos panels are also made from 100% pre-consumer recycled and recovered wood fiber with no added formaldehyde (NAF). They are incredibly easy to work with and can be easily cut, routed and machined to various specifications,” he adds.

Uniboard Nexos exterior panels are suitable for non-structural and paint-grade applications such as exterior millwork, window boards, moldings, signs, exterior cladding and other architectural components.

Nexos panels are available in standard North American sizes and thicknesses and will be manufactured and stocked at Uniboard’s MDF plant in Mont-Laurier, Canada.
