Tafisa Starts Selection Process for New CEO

CANADA – The Board of Directors of Tafisa Canada has recently begun the search for a new CEO to succeed Mr. Louis Brassard.

1093TAFISA This succession plan aims to ensure a smooth transition by allowing the incoming CEO to benefit from Mr. Brassard’s mentorship over a transition period extending into 2025. Mr. Brassard, who joined Tafisa in 1994 and has been CEO since 2003, has significantly contributed to the company’s growth and success.

Tafisa, a subsidiary of Sonae Capital Industrials within the Efanor group, operates one of North America’s largest particleboard manufacturing facilities. Established in 1992 in Quebec’s Lac-Mégantic region, Tafisa employs nearly 400 people and serves residential and commercial markets across North America. The company is renowned for its sustainable practices, including the integration of recovered and recycled wood fiber into its manufacturing processes, solidifying its global leadership in particleboard production.
