GERMANY – Swiss Krono Group showcased at BAU 2019 a collection of new products created to allow everyone to turn their own individual style ideas into reality, whether they’re planning buildings, constructing with wood materials or designing living spaces using new decors and tactile surfaces.
In doing so, the company attaches great importance to the aspect of sustainability, as explained by Martin Brettenthaler, CEO and Chairman of the Swiss Krono Group Executive Board: “Swiss Krono Group has set itself the goal of steadily and consistently reducing VOC emissions and the use of formaldehyde. The company has taken a leading role in this matter within the industry.”
“With our comprehensive product range, which covers everything from planning and construction to interior design, we aim to meet and exceed all customer requirements – whether they relate to workmanship, usability, stylish living or environmental expectations,” says Max von Tippelskirch, CSCO and member of the executive committee at Swiss Krono Group.
One of the highlights at the Company’s stand was their water-resistant flooring products, suitable for humid areas. A highly compressed and thus intensely non-absorbent base layer, as well as the AQUA PEARL click system, a friction locking system, form the basis for the water-resistant properties of the panels. The laminate flooring is extremely water-repellent, resistant to all types of liquids and highly durable (utility class 33, AC 5). Standing water that is absorbed within 24 hours leaves no traces on the laminate flooring (according to the NALFA test). The floor can therefore handle the occasional mishap with liquids – even if they are not cleaned up immediately.
Also on display was CamuStyleTX, a new surface for furniture fronts and interior design, which easily imbues home environments with a unique “lived-in” look. Recipient of the German Design Award in the category “Excellent Product Design – Material and Surfaces”, CamuStyleTX comprises a total of 12 decors in two product lines, Metallized and Fantasy. The surfaces create a warm, rustic atmosphere and the variety of subtle patterns offers myriad design options.
Swiss Krono’s portafolio at BAU 2019 also included among others: Swiss Krono Magnumboard® OSB and Swiss Krono Longboard OSB – high-performance wood materials for quick, ecological construction; Swissclic Panel – the material system for wall and ceiling design; SwissCDF – the compact fiberboard with colored core, and new laminate decors in the Kronotex, My Floor, Swiss Floors, Grand Selection and Aurum collections.
