GERMANY –  Sonae Arauco is signaling strong confidence in its Beeskow plant by investing approximately EUR 6 million in a new MDF sanding line.

The move will boost production capacity, enhance product quality, and improve workflow efficiency—solidifying the site’s strategic importance.

“Investing in times like these is a clear commitment to the location,” said Robert Rösner, Plant Manager at Sonae Arauco Beeskow. “We invest strategically with a focus on continuous improvement and technological innovation. Above all, we prioritize our customers’ needs, and this new step will help us better meet those expectations and strengthen our market position.”

This new sanding line is part of a broader investment program. In recent years, the company has continually upgraded its production processes and adopted cutting-edge technologies. One major milestone was the launch of a state-of-the-art particleboard line in Beeskow in 2020, representing an investment of over EUR 50 million.

The installation of the new sanding line will begin July and is expected to start operating in August 2025, further solidifying Beeskow’s position as a key production hub for Sonae Arauco in Europe.
