ARGENTINA – Sadepan Latinoamericana SA, an Argentine producer of melamine boards belonging to Italy’s Mauro Saviola Group, reaffirms its commitment to the environment, by renewing in June 2015 the SCS GLOBAL SERVICES “V7-0 Recycled Content” certification.
This certification guarantees that all boards are composed of at least 58% wood waste material from other industrial processes of the forest industry sector.
This certification has the advantage of granting LEED credits (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) to construction companies that decide to construct sustainable buildings USGBC LEED certification. The USGBC is internationally recognized for excellence in the evaluation of green buildings. It classifies projects and grants certificates of recognition to those that prove to be sustainable in design, construction methods and operating methods. Guiding the construction industry toward improved energy efficient projects using recycled products to conserve natural resources, reducing solid waste, and thus protecting the environment and achieving environmentally friendly spaces.
