BELGIUM – The European Producers of Laminate Flooring (EPLF) has entered a new era with the election of Ruben Desmet (Unilin) as president and Fabian Kölliker (Swiss Krono Group) as a new board member.

This follows the departure of Max von Tippelskirch (Swiss Krono Group) as president.
Desmet, the newly elected president, said, “It’s an honor to lead EPLF during this transformative period. I look forward to continuing Max von Tippelskirch’s excellent work, focusing on sustainability and enhancing our industry’s reputation. We aim to strengthen laminate flooring’s role in supporting the EU’s Renovation Wave and Affordable Housing Initiative.”
Kölliker, commenting on his new role as board member, shared, “It’s an exciting time for our sector. I look forward to contributing with my experience in digital transformation and data-driven marketing to benefit EPLF members and the broader laminate industry.”
The Executive Board is elected for a two-year mandate by the EPLF General Assembly, which consists of all ordinary members. Committee chairs are elected by their respective committees.
Established in 1994, EPLF – the Association of the European Producers of Laminate Flooring represents the leading producers of laminate flooring in Europe and their suppliers. Its mission is to raise awareness about the benefits of laminate flooring and represent the interests of the European Producers of Laminate Flooring.
