GERMANY –   German wood-based panels manufacturer Pfleiderer has officially announced the establishment of its direct presence in Singapore and Greater China, marking a key milestone in its expansion strategy across Asia.

Effective October 1, Hongyi Cai, General Manager of Pfleiderer Greater China, based in Shanghai, is collaborating closely with the company’s agent in Thailand, APR, to provide enhanced local support, faster access to samples and technical expertise, and closer cooperation on regional projects.

“Establishing a direct presence in Singapore and Greater China marks an exciting new chapter for Pfleiderer,” said Dr. Hicham Abel, CEO. “Being closer to our agent and customers enables us to respond swiftly, collaborate more effectively, and deliver our renowned German quality to more projects across Asia.”

Stefan Zinn, Chief Commercial Officer, added that this step forms the basis for Pfleiderer’s ambitious growth strategy in the region:

Headquartered in Neumarkt in der Oberpfalz, Pfleiderer employs around 1,900 people, primarily across five production sites in Germany and one adhesive systems facility in Poland.
