POLAND – The renaming of Pfleiderer Grajewo into Pfleiderer Group adopted at its annual general meeting on 29 June took effect with its entry into the Polish commercial register (KRS) on 30 September.
At the same time, the company’s headquarters moved from Grajewo to Wroclaw (Breslau), a metropolitan city situated at a roughly equivalent distance from the companies factories located in Poland and Germany as part of the plan to integrate the Eastern and Western Segment. The renaming means that the holding firm mainly focuses on the strategic management of the group. At the same time, the organizational structure of the Polish activities was adjusted to reflect the model used in Germany for a long time. The different subsidiaries are placed under the operational holding firm. The standardization of the organizational structure will eliminate duplicated functions within the Group.
In January 2016 the reverse takeover of Pfleiderer GmbH by Pfleiderer Grajewo S.A. was completed. As a result of this business combination, a leading Polish company has been established that at the same time is one of the leading European producers of decorative wood based panel solutions. The integration process launched in 2015 assumes that the full-fledged integration of the Pfleiderer Group S.A. (previously doing business as Pfleiderer Grajewo S.A.) and Pfleiderer GmbH will produce synergies of at least EUR 30 million by the end of 2018. The name change and the relocation of the registered office are further steps leading to the Group’s full integration.
