GERMANY – The Pfleiderer Group, one of the leading wooden panel manufacturers, has further solidified its position as a sustainability leader by earning the prestigious Platinum Medal in the annual EcoVadis sustainability rating.

This marks the first time the wood-based panel manufacturer has received this top-tier recognition, placing it among the global elite of assessed companies.

EcoVadis, one of the world’s largest platforms for evaluating Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) performance, assesses companies based on criteria in four key areas: environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. Pfleiderer achieved an impressive score of 87 out of 100 points, ranking it in the top 1% of the approximately 130,000 companies evaluated globally.

Key factors contributing to this achievement include Pfleiderer’s advancements in environmental protection, the implementation of additional metrics in ESG reporting, and top scores in labor and human rights as well as sustainable procurement.
