CHILE – Masisa reported its results at the end of the third quarter of 2022.
Sales revenues as of September 2022 were USD 395.1 million, an increase of USD 73.5 million (22.9%) compared to the same period of the previous year. The increase in revenues is mainly explained by the improvement in the Company’s average business price.
EBITDA reached USD 99.1 million, which represents an increase of USD 44.4 million compared to the same period of the previous year, mainly as a consequence of the improvement in its sales margins.
EBITDA margin grew from 17.0% in September 2021 to 25.1%, due to the focus on higher value-added products and cost efficiencies.
At the bottom line level, the Company recorded a profit of USD 53.8 million as of September 2022, which compares positively with a profit of USD 18.8 million in the same period of the previous year.
