CHILE – Masisa received the 2016 Sustainable Initiatives Prize in the diversity and inclusion category, for its contribution to the inclusion of women in its industrial operations.
The award was presented by HUB Sustainability, platform of the Pulse daily for the analysis, discussion and dissemination of issues related to sustainable business development in Chile.
The inclusion of women in industrial operations began in 2012 in the Masisa Cabrero Industrial Complex, following its success, the company signed an unprecedented cooperation agreement with the Municipality of Cabrero and the National Women’s Service to strengthen this program.
This important recognition was received by Zoraida Cabrera, Manager of Human Resources; José Miguel Obreque, Labor Relations Manager; and Lorenzo Chavalos, Masisa Operations Manager Andina. “This recognition is a boost to our goal of promoting respect and gender diversity to form high performance teams in Masisa said Chavalos.
